Governors

North Wootton Community School Governing Body is made up of elected and co-opted people who represent the interests of the children and staff and make decisions regarding the running of the school.

The Full Governing Body meet twice a term.

Each Governor is also on one of the following sub-committees:

  • Education Committee (meets twice per term)
  • Resources Committee (meets twice per term)

In addition to sub-committee responsibilities, each Governor is linked to a specific area of school improvement.

For the 2015/16 academic year JULIAN YOUNG is CHAIR OF GOVERNORS and CLARE SMITH is VICE CHAIR OF GOVERNORS.

Our Clerk to Governors is Jane Hill.

1 Local Authority governor - Pauline Gilbert

1 staff governor - Liz Hindmarsh

6 co-opted governors - Robert Alflatt; Vicki Hopps; Suzanne Walker; Ann Wells; Oliver Whitby; Julian Young

1 Headteacher governor - Jonathan Williams
